Well would you believe it, we had another rover so i went for peg 9......again!! To cut a very long and boring story short I had a crap match. My pole still isn't fixed so i had another go with just 3 sections and paste, but the fish just didn't want to know. Even the skimmers and tench had switched off. I had a brief spell on the method but that only produces 1 fish and i ended up 5th with just 23lb. Overall however i finished 3rd which was pleasing, even though there was often only a handful of us fishing. Still, we have had a good craic and a big congratulations must go out to Kelvin, the overall winner who has fished a blinder. Roll on next year and hopefully there will be a few more faces.
